Our History
In the year 1984, Horácio Leal decided to create his own construction materials
company.
This is how the now well-known Horácio Vieira Leal was born. During his adolescence,
Horácio Leal gained experience in carpentry, working with one of the largest
construction companies in the city where he lived.
While still young, he started doing small projects, which led to his interest in
construction materials.
Customer demands increased, and the growth of the construction market in the mid-
80s led him to dedicate himself exclusively to this activity.
In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we created our first website to facilitate access to our products and services. In 2023, we began renovating our showroom with the goal of improving our customers’ experience and satisfaction by offering a more modern and interactive environment and celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary in 2024.
HOW HVL GAINS SCALE
We are a company entirely focused on customer satisfaction.
Construction involves many risks, and one of the ways to minimize them is by
purchasing high-quality materials. Even more important is having the support of
specialized professionals.
With our clients’ demands always in mind, HVL decided to expand the warehouse and
store area in 1999. This allowed us to offer an increasingly diverse range of products,
always prioritizing quality and total customer satisfaction.
